Panasonic TX-26LMD70 review

Has the consumer and critic's favourite produced another cracker of an LCD?

Impressive connectivity ; Excellent pictures

Audio leaves a lot to be desired

Another table-topping performance from one of the best names in LCD

Panasonic TX-32LMD70 review

Don't be fooled by its entry-level billing

Great features for the money ; Impressive picture performance

No 100Hz processing ; Motion handling

There's much more here than you'd expect from an entry-level HDTV

Panasonic Viera TX-26LMD70 26in LCD TV

Can Panasonic's entry-level 26in TV live up to the standard set by its bigger brothers?

This Panny offers 32 inches of screen and a digital tuner for very little cash. Surely there's a catch?

Some average speakers aside, this is a fine LCD and one of the best buys in the 32in market

Panasonic TX-26LMD70

It doesn't look particularly cheap, that's for sure, with its matt black finish looking quietly stylish and pleasingly robust. Plus it carries all the connections we'd expect, such as two HDMIs, component video input, PC port, Scarts and so on.

Great pictures overall, easy to use, good feature count

Nothing significant in itself, though you can add 100Hz to its spec if you spend ?100 or so more on Panasonic's 26LXD70

Panasonic TX-26LMD70

Having been highly impressed by its TX-32LXD70, we've high hopes indeed for Panasonic's new 26in model, the TX-26LMD70. But, how many corners has Panasonic cut to hit the appealing £660 price?

Strong connections for the price, Impressive pictures

No 100Hz Motion Picture Pro

The price astounds, and this entry-level LCD has a surprising amount packed into its slender frame too

Panasonic TX-26LMD70

Outstanding picture quality and value make this 26in LCD a compelling package ..

The TX-26LMD70 is a great screen, and a screen that you could quite easily live with. £100 pounds or so more will get you 100Hz refresh rate although the lack of this feature on the TX26LMD70 doesn't seem to have the impact that it does on the...

Panasonic TX-26LMD70 review

Read losts of reviews and preferred the design of this outoing model compared with new Panasonic 26" & 32" (Sept '08). Managed to find one at Play.com which took a lot of searching. This is a great TV and highly recommended.

Sleek design with great picture quality with easy set-up.

Audio not as good as my outgoing Panasonic 24" CRT model but it's acceptable
