Plasma's days are numbered, but it's going down swinging: the Panasonic TX-P42GT60B is a glorious TV

Sterling picture performance Lovely smart home interface Cracking control app

Looks a bit plain That pen. We don’t get it

Amazing picture quality ; Good all-round range of features ; Customisable smart TV homescreen ; Relatively affordable

Only three HDMI ports -- one less than last year's model ; Lacks the camera and second tuner you get on the VT65 models

Overall the GT60 is an excellent set. The smart TV system is a big improvement over what was available on last year's GT50, although Panasonic still need to add more content -- especially Lovefilm, ITV Player and 4oD -- in order to match what Samsung...

The Panasonic TX-P42GT60B TV shows that reports of plasma's demise have been greatly exaggerated

Picture quality from any and every source ; Ergonomics ; Smart interface

Uninspiring styling ; Unyielding sound ; Nonsensical Touch Pen ; Only 3 HDMI imputs
