Panasonic TC-P50GT50

If you're shopping for a 2012 TV and picture quality is your highest priority you should, in ascending order of financial recklessness, get a good plasma, splurge for an Elite or wait and buy an OL ED . If getting the best picture for your money is...

The Panasonic TC-PGT50 series exhibited outstanding overall picture quality, characterized by exceedingly deep black levels with great shadow detail, accurate colors, and solid bright-room performance. Unlike LCDs, as a plasma it has superb off-angle...

The GT50 isn't as strong a value as some competing plasmas. It uses more power than LCD TVs, and doesn't perform as well in bright rooms as those with matte screens. It doesn't come with 3D glasses. The GT50 is only available in 50-inch and larger sizes.

Superb picture quality and beautiful design place the Panasonic GT50 in the top tier of plasma TVs, but it's more expensive than others with similar performance.

Panasonic TC-P50UT50

Panasonic has a reputation for producing high-quality plasma televisions, and with its 2012 models the company has not disappointed. The new lineup has single-handedly changed the level of quality we now expect from midrange televisions. The Panasonic...

In pure dollar/performance terms the Panasonic TC-PUT50 series is one of the best TVs we've seen, with astounding picture quality for the money. Black levels are the equal of Panasonic's ST50 series in a darkened room, shadow detail is very good, and...

The UT50 series doesn't perform very well in a lit room, with blacks becoming muddy and indistinct. The performance of 3D is only passable, with quite distinct ghosting effects. The TV lacks advanced setup controls, which makes tweaking a better...

The Panasonic TC-P50UT50 plasma TV nearly matches the world-beating picture quality of the ST50 series, at an even lower price.

Panasonic TC-P50UT50 Review – 50-inch Plasma HDTV

The low price-tag and slim design of the 50-inch plasma TV model allow users to consider it for various parts of their house. You can place the model in the main living room of your small sized apartment or place in your kids' room, study or bed room....

Panasonic has further designed the model with a web browser and Viera Internet suite integration. You can use the feature to browse through websites on your TV screen along with streaming online content from networks like Netflix, YouTube, Pandora and...

Panasonic TC-P50GT50 Review – 50-inch Plasma HDTV

Some of the recent HDTV models by manufacturer are designed just like a computer. Along with the normal functionality of a TV set, the models also come with smart networking and connectivity options. The 50-inch plasma TV set launched by Panasonic is...

Similar to the offline digital content, a user also gets the options to access a wide variety of online movies, music and videos. With the built in Wi-Fi and browser, the TV set allows users to browse their favorite websites directly on the TV screen....

"Good Until Broken."

Loved it and praised it and Panasonic until the TV stopped working today. Im awaiting "estimates" but with it being out of the warranty, i think I will junk it. Totally sucks.

The factory remote works with my PS3. Nice features and pretty good picture.

The TV got the 8 blinks (of death, apparently) 1 year and 23 days after purchase.

"Outstanding Top Quality TV Purchase Ever"

I bought this TV as a replacement for my other Panasonic 47" LED from 2012. The repair person and the staff at the Best Buy store were very helpful. So I picked it out this one and only paid a small price because of the price difference. This was $700...

Amazing Picture...., Superb Smart TV Features, GREAT Sound and Excellent Quality Build & Craftsmanship.

There's nothing bad about this TV.

"Great TV for the price!!!"

After reading the reviews, I really wanted an ST, but when Costco offered a $100 rebate on top of an already great price it was a no brainer. I'm sure that the ST is better but not $500 better.

Blacks, ease of setup, Smart features. Costco upped the basic warranty to 2yrs.

Not enough picture adjustments, no 3D glasses, no on board WiFi

"great picture, but constant burn in"

I would not disagree with any of the points made about the picture's quality- it is very good to say the least. I did see a lot of glare, but never got a chance to make any of the adjustments that may have reduced it.

picture quality

burn in on both models I purchased

"Not flashy but good"

I've had this TV for a little over a month and so far I am pleased. This is the first plasma TV I have owned and it does take a little getting used to. LCD / LED are defenitely brighter and to me sharper. The color on plasma however seems very good. I...

Good picture out of the box, 3D effect and 2D - 3D effects are OK, TV sound is surprisingly good

Heavy, lack of connectivioty options, i.e. only 2 HDMI, no glasses. optional accessories are pricey

"Buy at own risk - Panasonic does not honor warrantee"

Buy at your own risk. Panasonic does not honor their warrantee. This TV is not worth the frustration of dealing with Panasonic's lack of customer service.

Good picture, nice features for the price

Does not come with wireless receiver.
