With obvious signs of motion blur, this LCD TV is best considered for Freeview only watching

Contrast; Simple interface; Freeview pictures; Low price

Black & white graphics; Flimsy build quality; Motion blur

For a tiny TV the 19PFL3405's sound is excellent, with the surround option in particular impressing; there are absolutely no surround effects, but the soundstage is widened nicely – quite something on a TV with such small stereo space

Menu too dark

Bought this for our conservatory great picture but when you put the tv guide on it is black and very hard to see. If you could change the colour it would make it alot clearer.

You need a computer to update the Tv

Do not buy. Nothing but trouble and supplier not very helpful. Had problems after 2 months and Philips said TV needed an update. Had to buy a memory stick and download update which they sent me. Couldn't download so "as a gesture of goodwill" Philips...

Poor picture

The picture was very blocky on free view what i would have expected from a very poor quality tv not this one. The picture on analogue sky feed was ridiculous. Returned and swapped for Samsung UE22D5003 which is much better.

Good value for money

This TV sits on a bracket above my kitchen units. It is just the right size, it was easy to install and works perfectly. The hand controller is a little 'up side down' with the channel numbers at the bottom but otherwise good.
