Philips 42PFL5907/F7

In my native land of Australia, Philips hasn't sold a television in four years -- not because the TVs aren't popular, they just aren't actually sold there. Here in the U.S., it's almost easy to think the same thing , especially when Philips releases...

The Philips PFL5907 LED TV has impressive picture quality for the price, anchored by relatively deep black levels, good shadow detail, and a natural color palette in most areas. The TV has a diverse feature set, including MediaConnect PC mirroring.

The Philips exhibited a really shallow optimal viewing angle. Colors could be better; its reds and blues lack the vibrancy of some of its rivals', while near blacks can look purple.

The Philips PFL5907 series has commendable picture quality and features, making it one of the better LED TV values.

"NO FlashPlayer included"

Although the majority of videos, movies, series and shows available on the internet today are viewed in FlashPlayer,

Philips offers a quality picture. Back lighting is nice.

Majority of video available on the internet today is viewed in FlashPlayer which Philips doesn't have.

Everything I hoped for

Rarely have I bought a product that fuflills all my wishes so thoroughly as this product does: Picture is just great -- crisp resolution (which of course depends on the quality of the broadcast) and bright, happy, realistic colors; sound is booming and...

Very simple and intuitive to use, yet can do a lot of things

I think because it's a smart TV, it's a little touchy about connections (can't just unplug at will; turn off first)

Awesome !

I had returned a 40" Toshiba Led 120hz for this Phillips. Amazing picture, sound, and wireless feature. Well worth every penny I spent. I love it every time I sit down to enjoy a movie, HD channels, or playing video game. Phillips has created a...

Great LED TV.

This TV is one of the very few 42" sets that has a 240hz refresh rate. The processing is first rate and unlike Cnet's review (which is very good) I find the entire color spectrum of this model extremely vivid and life-like. Easily connects to the...
