Philips 46PFL7007 review

The Philips 46PFL7007 manages to combine very stylish looks with great picture and sound quality. It's a very high-quality set, but its so-so smart TV system and difficult to use picture processing stop it from scoring even more highly.

Deep black levels ; Beautifully rich and warm colours ; Attractive, high-end styling

Relatively poor line-up of smart TV apps ; Picture processing can be overly fussy to use ; Suffers from some 3D crosstalk

Philips 7000 Series 46PFL7007 Smart LED 3D TV review

Philips 7000 Series combines elegant looks with great sound, picture quality and Smart TV features. Here's our 46PFL7007 review.

Review: Philips 46PFL7007

With five HDMI inputs and a powerful dual-core processor, this model compares well with the best 2012 smart TVs.

Sharp and smooth visuals; deep blacks and strong shadow detail; sleek design; superb A/V connectivity suite; unique Ambilight function

Light to moderate crosstalk; jaggies for DVD-upscaling; slow user interface; remote has short battery life; redundant SCART input

Available now at S$2,999, the Philips 47PFL7007 is of the cheapest 200Hz LED-edgelit TVs offering both 3D and smart TV functions. Right now, only Sony can beat this price with its S$2,899 KDL-46HX750, while the S$3,499 Panasonic TH-L47DT50 and S$4,499...
