Philips 32PF5520D is a decent performer with some notable pluses (such as its built-in digital tuner), but for a mid-range offering its price of AU$3699 puts it perilously close to the high-end models of players like LG and Sony.

"Great picture, but I would like more sound volume."


Bought the set for its PIP, to mix analogue/digital, only to find it can't be done (correct me if I'm wrong). I plan to use a HD box later; meantime very happy with integrated sd unit.

attractive design fit,s in the room well not to big

Although HD Ready I had to buy a scat lead to enable sound and then a surround system so all in all quite expensive. I feel this should have been explained at time of purchase.I later found out only Philip,s are like this
