Philips 50PF9731D 50" Plasma TV

Test Bench: Philips Ambilight 42PF9731D 42-inch LCD HDTV

By David Katzmaier (soundandvisionmag.com)

Pixelated Picture, So-So Sound, and Mind-Boggling Menus Make the Philips 42PF9731D a Poor Performer

By quasar (epinions.com)

viewable at an angle, elegant, relatively small footprint

pixelation, screen defects, can't keep up with fast motion (sports), unintuitive menus, merely adequate sound

Don't buy ANY Philips TV

By daddymc123 (epinions.com)

This TV has really great features, picture, sound, and connectivity.

This TV and other Philip's TVs break. Their service is absolutely awful and even criminal.
