Great uniform picture. Good picture from Dish Network

This is the first LCD HDTV I own and I am not disapointed. It is a great value. My old TV is a Panasonic 27" CRT that after 12 years is still going strong with beautiful picture. I like the auto sizing of the picture option, but it can get annoying...

Excellent color rendition after your personal adjustments ; Sound is OK ; Plenty of inputs ; Lightweight ; Excellent value for the price

Sound could be improved ; Color and Tint varies from channel to channel ; Greenish Yellows sometimes that don't respond to tint tune - may be my unit only - Waiting to get response from Philips Support

Good value for the price, excellent performance

For the pice of it, its an excellent product, though compared to other high end TV's i did not find any difference in visual quality or color. Images are not as sharp as high end TV's but more than 5 feet and i did not see any difference.

True Colors in daylight ; Power saving mode ; multiple HDMI ports ; Good sound quality

Remote is awkward, multi steps required to do simple things ; No VGA port to connect to a pc/laptop but there is the S-Video port

Excellent Picture .... so-so sound

After checking numerous models, I chose this one for several reasons. The set is in a very brightly lit room. There is no picture impact at all from this - no glare whatsoever. The quality of the picture is excellent - bright and vivid colors - I watch...

Extremely easy to set up. Excellent picture quality. Very good looking framing

Sound is so-so. No VGA input. No optical digital sound output. A "little bit odd" when turning off, the screen goes to bright blue for about 3 seconds before shutting down. Scary the first time it happens

Works great.

This TV has excellent picture quality, even on NTSC analog. The USB connector lets you do slideshows with your pictures or play your MP3 music

No VGA input

Above average LCD

I bought my TV at Target for $750. My friend has the Samsung is in the same catagory as mine. Yes, his is better. But he paid $1400 for a 46"and I paid $750 for a 42". For the price, I would take my TV.

The TV's overall picture quality is good. It is very hard to tell the difference in quality from a Samsung unless they are next to each other. It has 4 hdmi inputs. For the price this TV is excellent, but it lacks features that higher priced TV's have

I have two big complaints although I won't complain for the price. First, the TV lacks any kind of detail picture adjustment. It only had tint and pictures. I would like it if you could adjust it like a computer monitor. Second, No DVI inputs but no...

Better than average.

I was able to compare the TV side-by-side with other brands at a store. Better brightness than Vizio, better picture quality than Sanyo, but not quite as good as Samsung and Sony, but much lower cost than those brands. Plenty of connection options

1 dead blue pixel. I didn't see it until I got to a "No Signal" screen. I do not see it when I am further than 4 feet away though ; The connectors on the back should be 90 degrees to the wall. If I decide to wall mount it, it will become an issue

Great TV

Putting the stand onto the tv if you arent wall mounting it can be very annoying if you dont have a magnetic screw driver. But that isnt truelly a con so thats why its here.

This Tv has an amazing picture. The number of HD and SD ports is perfect. Prevents me from having to use a switch. Setting it up was very simple with its on screen system of choosing between images to pick which you like best. The sound quality isnt...

Forget the "little" HDTVs, get a HUGE screen!

Great TV/Monitor for an Xbox 360 or HD Cable service. Even 480p looks great on it.

Lots of inputs. Standard number of HDMI inputs is 2. This has 4. All capable of 1080p. Matte finish screen for easy viewing in most light. No annoying reflections. Great sound for 2x10watt speakers.

Dynamic contrast is buggy. I recomend turnning it off. The Active light control is a little weird. When the image goes dark, it counters it making it brighter, which distorts the reason for the image doing dark.

Buy this tv

I actually own this TV but the brand name on it is Magnavox. Check into it, made by Philips but rebranded. Save some $ and buy the off brand with same quality.
