I bought this TV in June. The end of December it would not change channels without turning itself off then back on. Since it was under a year Philips would repair it. It has now been 6 weeks and it is still not fixed. This is not due to the TV...

Affordable LCD TV with many amenities

I bought this LCD TV brand new from Office Depot for the after tax price around $700.

1. Good price (if you shop around) 2. Up to 1080i resolution (why pay more for something you will not tell the difference?) 3. Pretty good sound (a decent detachable sound bar) 4. Very sharp images

1. No DVI interface 2. 37'' screen size can be too small 3. Many times the view is not full screen (I guess that is due to the resolution issue?)

This a great LCD TV for the price... Sorry Newegg but I got mine at Office Depot for $650. Lots of inputs to choose from along with 1080i

Do need to change some settings from the out of box settings to really make the TV shine

Good TV can be found for a great price when you shop around & are patient.

(Edited June 29th by bdubslawman) I bought this TV for my grandmother for $699 + tax @ Office Depot.

LCD, Good Quality, decent number of inputs. Good screen resolution 1080i or 720P. $699 plus tax. Very attractive presentation. Good audio. VERY BRIGHT! For good daytime viewing.

Set up takes more time than it needs to w/ better pictures. NO DVI inputs. Why? The on screen menu can be annoying appears every time change channels no option to turn off! No ambilight 8-(

TRULY A REFRESHING BARGAIN

A FEW WEEKS AGO OUR 27" SONY TV WENT OUT IN OUR BEDROOM. TOTALLY LOST, WE REPLACED IT WITH A 19" UNIT UNTIL WE FOUND THE RIGHT TV FOR US. AS SOON AS WE ARRIVED AT THE THIRD ELECTRONICS STORE, THE PHILIPS 32" WAS THE FIRST ONE WE SAW AND WERE TOTALLY ...
