This is an awesome HDTV with a studio quality picture.

 

This is a very high quality TV with many advanced technologies in it, including LED back lighting. It has excellent contrast the black display is the best I've ever seen in an LCD HDTV. The color is exceptionally vivid and with nearly perfect balance...

It is VERY important to do the firmware update as recommended by Philips, but it's easy. Simply go to the Philips support website and download the most recent firmware file for the TV to a flash drive. Unzip the file on the flash drive and stick the flash

You will probably need to call up Philips and ask them to send you the Net Access dongle which apparently did not get shipped with most sets of this model. You will need it to use the internet connectivity features of this TV. I had to call them but they

The majority of videos, movies, series & shows available on the internet today are viewed in FlashPlayer. Philips Smart TV has no FlashPlayer & doesn't allow you to add it. You're paying big money for the computer part of this tv with limited functions...

Pictures good, but has a bug.

 

Overall, the TV is pretty good. The sound sounds a little hollow but it takes a while to get used to it. It has a problem where every once in a while the TV will shut off on its own. Very annoying.

Nice!

 

I like all aspects of this TV. I just am uncertain of the whole wifi claim. I thought I could access the Internet but haven't figured that out yet. Sound is definitely good as well as picture. I'm very satisfied!!!
