PHILIPS 47PFL 7422 LCD TV

It's about time we reviewed a large screen high-end LCD TV, for two reasons: it's Diwali shopping season, and it's been a while since we saw some real 1080p action...

Don't do it. You will regret it...be sure of that.

I bought this from Costco in 5/08. Fortunately they give a 2 yr warranty (1 more than the mfr warranty). Like haleyjustice, the right 1/3 of my screen went black in 2/09. The repair shop replaced the display panel. When the repairman brought it back...

Excellent picture regardless of lighting conditions. Initial setup is easily accomplished and making changes to the settings is quick and straight forward. Numerous input and output connections

Remote is very light weight and lacks adequate direct feature access. The quick access channel selector blocks out a good portion of the screen
