Philips Cineos 32PFL9603D

By Ian Morris (cnet.co.uk)

We love it when a TV manufacturer remembers that most people don't live in enormous mansions. It's great for us plebs who live in lowly flats and modest houses to have a TV with the latest technology and excellent picture quality. Philips' 9603 does ...

That remote control wheel will drive you round the bend ; not very cheap ; bright backlight in dark scenes

This is a good, sturdy TV for people who want high-end performance on a smaller scale. Picture and sound both help to sell the package and the styling is clean, fresh and attractive

Digital SLRs are big, heavy and awkward to lug around. So what do you do if...

Stylish design ; good build ; excellent performance €" eventually

Remote control isn€™t the best ; takes longer than other sets to get it performing well
