Pioneer KRL-46V

Great movie picture with accurate 24p playback., Glossy front panel gives contrast-rich pictures even in bright rooms., Well adjusted colors in the factory setup., Light sensor adjusts brightness to suit ambient illumination., Excellent video...

Picture quality depends strongly on viewing angle., No swivel stand., Slight weaknesses in operation., No multimedia features., Relatively high price

The Pioneer KRL-46V's radiant picture is a pleasure to watch in bright rooms, but the disappointing feature list will drive away gadget-hungry buyers.

Pioneer KURO KRL-37V 37in LCD TV

The KRL-37V is Pioneer's first KURO LCD TV so can we expect the same sort of quality we've seen from its plasmas?

So with Pioneer's LCD decision so extensively depoliticised before we've even really got the TV out of its box, the only things really left for me to worry about are whether the TV justifies its relatively premium price point, and whether it does the...

Pioneer marks its debut in the LCD TV market with a scorching 37inch set. But can your credit card handle it?

A stunning LCD, but the performance comes at too high a cost

Pioneer Kuro KRL-32V review

We're not going to pretend this TV is cheap. It is, however, an impressive LCD TV with solid Freeview picture quality and amazing HD pictures. Even upscaled DVDs look good on this TV. It's one for you if you have your heart set on a Pioneer, but can't...

Styling ; Picture quality ; Clear sound

The price is on the ludicrous side ; Not as black as Pioneer's plasmas

But nonetheless, we're excited about this LCD TV and have high hopes that the 42-inch model will be a class leader. Until then, if you want a great LCD, we'd have to suggest the Toshiba 40ZF355D, one of our favourites. We also love the Samsung slim...

Pioneer Kuro KRL-37V LCD TV

Want superb quality contrast on an LCD screen? This is it, but it ain't cheap

If you want to save money, there are plenty of ways to do so - maybe opt for a less discreet screen frame or make do with HD-ready instead of Full HD. As the price goes down, you'll have to compromise on contrast and colour richness too. Moreover, with...

Pioneer KRL-37V

A very solid all round effort for Pioneer's first foray into the world of LCD TV's ..

As the first LCD offering from Pioneer, the KRL-37V promised much and to a degree it has delivered on this promise. Certainly part of a leading pack of LCD TV's the only real question mark is the high price.

Pioneer KRL-37V

Pioneer finally adds LCD to its TV range. Can it match the success of its KURO plasmas?

Impressive LCD picture quality / Seriously well built / Automatic HDMI input labelling

Price / No digital storage inputs / Only three HDMIs

Instead Pioneer has introduced this 37in LCD alongside its plasma range simply out of a desire to cater for people who can’t cope with the brand’s much larger plasmas TVs. No big controversy there, then

TV is brilliant. Great picture, definitely the best TV in this size
