Samsung HP-T4264

Ease of use and a low price, along with great specifications and some nice features, earned the Samsung HP-T4264 high marks despite a picture that, while not bad, wasn't as good as on the other four plasma sets we reviewed for our November 2007 issue's...

Inexpensive Easy to set up and use

Can't handle 1080p signals Average-quality picture

The HP-T4264's remote is long and a bit unwieldy, but it's programmable, and some of the buttons light up

Samsung HP-T5064

Samsung is one of those mega-companies that seems to do everything well. Once known for cheap, second-rate consumer products, Samsung has steadily improved its reputation until it is now one of the most respected manufacturers in the world. Its DLP...

There’s a whole lot to like about this set and very little to dislike. If you want an excellent picture with superb blacks, eye-popping yet natural colors, and exquisite detail, you’ll definitely find it here. At $2700, it is the most expensive plasma...

As one of the top manufacturers in the category, Samsung is a solid choice for a plasma HDTV, and the HP-T5064 is no exception. This 50-inch set boasts a sleek look that will dress up any room. The screen blends into the mirrored black bezel as if it...

Rich black levels, plenty of picture setting options, sleek design looks impressive in any room

Best bang for buck

The blacks that this thing produces are amazing. I checked out cnet, and they were right. This tv is a great buy. Burn in does not seem to be an issue with this set

Slow input switching, but for the picture it produces I'll wait 3 seconds

Hit a Homer On First Plasma Purchase!

This Samsung TV is impressing me alot and i when i move this one to my bedroom in the future i will most likely get another Samsung Plasma but bigger!!!

After doing lots of research i narrowed down my list to to brands (Samsung and Panasonic) and two sizes (42" and 50"). After a visit to my local Circuit City i decided that the 42" was big enough for me. I fell in love with the Samsung picture at the...

The picture out the box is not very good. You have to adjust the settings to make this TV shine. I found some settings on another site and tried those out. After adjusting them to my liking the final picture is breathtaking. Regular channels look good...

Amazing TV!!

This is a GREAT TV for the price!!! As I'm writing this review, it's actually 100 bucks less than it was when I bought it (which is QUITE A BIT less than anywhere else... thank you Newegg!)

Great TV ... like the previous reviewer said, it's actually 720p native res ... standard cable (i don't yet have digital OR HD) actually looks pretty impressive compared to most HDTVs I've seen. Haven't used it with a set-top DVD player yet, but my...

Not 1080p, but from what I've read and been told, at 42" you won't notice the difference anyway. To me, the remote has some of the common buttons in odd places ("Enter" for changing to single-digit channels is quite a ways away from the number buttons)...
