A 26-inch HD-ready LCD with 1366 x 768 resolution, the Samsung LE26A456 has a 5000:1 contrast ratio, measures 700x500x216mm and weighs 9.7kg. It also has 3x HDMI ports, 1x S-Video, 1x composite, 1x component and two SCART ports.

Five hundred pounds is a huge amount to pay for a 26in TV; there are 42in models available for the same price if you shop around.
The excellent LE26A456C has no significant weaknesses, but it's simply too expensive. Samsung's 32in model has an obvious size advantage, is brighter and, at current prices, costs less.
