The LE40M87 is another fantastic value TV from Samsung, which has an enviable knack of producing TVs that hit all the sweet spots. This manages to boast a pretty design, a 40-inch screen, a 1080p display and three HDMI inputs -- all for £800. It's a real...

Sound is weak and unimpressive; remote control is slow to respond
If you want a 1080p screen at a remarkably low price, this is probably the TV for you. It's a good performer and beautifully designed. It has a few annoying quirks, but it's a solid LCD television

The Samsung LE40M87BDX looks great although it tends to attract the dust. I am watching Sky through it (not Sky HD) and depending on the channel being watched the digital artefacts relating to watching low res picture on high res tv are fairly annoying.
Great design, very eye catching.
The black plastic stand and frame are a dust magnet.
Overall the Samsung LE40M87BDX is an excellent bit of kit, shame about the colour reproduction
easy to set-up
colour too vivid and unrealistic
