They almost had a great panel. However something is very wrong in the video processing and Samsung has down right refused to look into this matter. I have never seen this problem with any other panel other than a brief similar issue with Panasonic,...

Overall great color re-production, Smart TV, Cool remote but bulky, 3D very promising

Major problems with brightness and contrast. Huge fluctuations at these levels. dark image turn darker and then flash into a light cloudy grey matter and back. No solution from Samsung

Could be really good

 

I would love this tv if it did not have this minor annoyance. The brightness fluctuates in a very distracting way. It would be good if samsung would fix it. Panasonic plasma had the same issue and were fixed with a firmware/board update. Samsung please!

Perfection ruined major problem

 

This TV could easily be one of the best TVs of 2011. Unfortunately, until Samsung acknowledges the problem and issues a fix, I COULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS SET TO ANYONE.
