Samsung's 51-inch PS51D6900 is currently one of the best-value 3D TVs on the market, but this plasma telly also offers great 2D performance and an excellent line-up of Internet and media-streaming features.

Samsung's PS51D6900 3D TV has been getting some very positive publicity since its launch, so we decided to grab one for ourselves to give it the once over.

If I needed a new TV, I would seriously consider buying the Samsung PS51D6900. The picture quality, screen size and feature set is quite simply breathtaking for the money you pay and it puts to shame certain 3D TVs almost double its price.

Samsung moves 3D from LED to Plasma, and with a few design tweaks, has added an inch to its screen size in this incarnation. It's all courtesy of a shrunken bezel, but does it really make a difference to picture quality?
