Samsung has obviously made some compromises to keep the price of this TV so low. It lacks Full HD resolution and only has two HDMI inputs. Nevertheless, for such a cut-price model its colour and contrast performance is strong and it's surprisingly...

The PS51E490 certainly has its weaknesses -- it's only got two HDMI ports, no smart TV features and a HD-ready resolution. You are, however, getting a lot of screen for not all that much cash and its colour and contrast performance is pretty impressive...

Remarkably cheap for a 51in 3D TV ; Minimal crosstalk with 3D images ; HD images look decent enough

If 3D is important to you, then you should definitely give this TV a try, but there are better 2D-only units out there

Fair detail and colour in HD ; Huge screen ; 3D with bundled glasses

Fantastic Picture-Poor Sound

We couldnt find a 3D tv at this price anywhere so we took one. Like everyone else, i can confirm the picture is awesome, we did upgrade from a wardrobe sized old tv so this new one is amazing. In 3D it is awesome. Also the smart features are a bonus....

i just love it

the tv is excellent. i have added my 3d blu ray player to this and the 3d quality is mind blowing. i guess i never have to go to a cinema ever again. the only backdrop is it is very complicated to use a home theatre with this product as the speakers...
