Update

Just a little hint for those who purchast this. Install the driver for the monitor, because without it the Picture In Picture (PIP) will not function correctly without it.

This is an update from my previous post, the tv side is awesome as well. It picks up local HD/Digital signals without any antenna attached to it

What can I say but, "This Is Awesome"

This monitor/tv is awesome, I ordered it yesterday and received it today. NOW that's what I call SPEEDY Delivery ; There are no dead pixels any where, I didn't have any trouble going from my DELL 17". I will write again when I check out the tv part....

ABSOLUTELY NONE

Love it!

I cant go back to anything less then 22 inches.

Looks beautiful. I love the touch buttons they are fantastic, but they are a little bit sensitive and a little bit hard to read. Would recommend this to anyone looking for a tv/monitor in their room or office

A little bit pricey, but you get what you pay for. Looks a little bit blurry when playing with my Wii. I have changed the settings on both the Wii and the monitor

Good Overall

I purchased this as my main computer monitor. You will definitely notice a big difference between analog and digital signals on HD monitors. Analog type inputs have a more grainy screen than their digital counterparts. If you have a DVI output from...

Not bad price range for a HD flat panel TV/Monitor. Supports a range of common inputs. Plus PIP is great when on the computer. Also supports down to older 640x480 VGA graphic resolution if you have older computers. Not too many flat screens have this...

Remote feels cheap, backwards heavy. The buttons on the bottom of the monitor could be illuminated so you could see them

SAMSUNG 2280HD Black 22" 5ms HDMI Widescreen LCD Monitor w/ Digital TV Tuner 400 cd/m2 700:1 Built-in Speakers

I don't think the volume is as much of a problem as other people are saying. If you are using a 22" monitor for movies or TV in anything bigger than a bedroom or office, what's wrong with you? Besides, it has optical out - use your home theater, it's...

Picture quality and color rendition are superb. The brightness is pretty amazing - I am using a dual monitor setup with a Macbook Pro and the Samsung blows away the Macbook Pro's LCD by far when in Entertainment mode. In Text/Internet mode, it is about...

Quite a delay after hitting a channel until it actually changes. The touch buttons on the monitor are almost too sensitive - there's no way to clean it without unplugging it or else you will be toggling the buttons with the SLIGHTEST touch. Regular...

Works Great So Far

This monitor looks great. We got it for my boss, who ends up working late nights and weekends. He loves the screen as a monitor, and the HDTV is the ultimate bonus. Once visitors spy the HDTVa antenna in the corner of his office, it's instant show-off...

Wow!

Despite a few flaws this set works and looks absolutely beautiful...

This monitor performs brilliantly as a pc monitor. Using DVI link the image quality is awesome. Theres are always complaints about light bleed, but it is minimal if noticeable. If you need and input and can;t find it here (provided its not already...

Image quality at 1080p from my xbox 360 is not as expected...though I would say its the xbox and not the monitor... the speakers are nice, but underpowered at best...standard tv is ok in 4:3, but best used in the PiP function

Make sure to test 1080p in HDMI port asap

The problem on 1080p of HDMI has often been overlooked becasue you need to have such capable player. Also 1080i usually looks similar to 1080p often.

It is a great monitor as well as TV for desktop application. There are countless 22" lLCD monitors in the market for around $300 or less at this time. Most of them are just good. But 2280HD includes TV tuner and all possible connectivities. That is...

My 2280HD has problem to handle 1080p on HDMI port. It works fine on DVI, which is not HDCP compatible

Good monitor

Be able to adjust the height would be nice.

Very nice looking monitor. Sturdy remote. Nice quality picture. All the inputs you will ever need and more

The image flickers with nVidia cards, and the text on gray backgrounds (menu items) will be blurry and have a white shade. You have to upgrade the drivers right off the bat. The picture will flicker with context menus with 'Let monitor scale image' to...

awesome monitor

Product is absolutely incredible/versatile. Very well thought out and works well with each setting. It is the little things that make this monitor awesome, and oh yeah: the outstanding 1080p picture quality. Wow. Also, setup is very easy. Just plug and...

1680 x 1050 looks incredible as a monitor. Widescreen definitely makes a difference. It also looks very good with an HDTV antenna plugged in via coax in the back (it is a very good picture, would be better with cable, but incredible for an antenna)....

If I had to name one, the only complaint I would have would be the sound. It is fine, but you must turn it up so much for it to be loud enough to hear. Again, it is sufficient, but would definitely be made better with surround sound
