Some merits but not top quality

After reading accolades about this model in Consumer Reports, I decided I wanted this as a bigger TV for our bedroom. It was always a relative bargain, but I waited for a big sale at Best Buy before buying it, so it seemed like a steal.

Nice picture, Comb Filter, Good Remote Control

Sounds makes a "hum," feels cheaply made

BROKEN TELEVISIONS

IN LESS THAN SIX MONTHS THE PICTURE TUBE WENT OUT. IT TOOK A MONTH FOR THE AUTHORIZED SERVICE PEOPLE AND SAMSUNG TO DECIDE WHAT TO DO ABOUT IT. THEN IT TOOK ANOTHER TWO WEEKS AFTER THAT WHEN WE FINALLY RECEIVED A RECONDITIONED ONE, BECAUSE THE FIRST...

A great starter TV for any young couple!

After getting married, my husband and I decided that the 13" TV/VCR combo we had in our living room was getting really hard to watch movies on. Since we hate going out to the theaters to see movies, we felt it was time to invest in something a bit...

speakers not as good as they could be.

Crisp picture, but makes a buzzing noise

Clear, sharp picture

TV makes a buzzing noise, preset video options are too pink ; no S-Video input ; upper-right corner is tinted green

Crisp picture, but makes a buzzing noise

I just purchased this TV in order to use in a small apartment for cable and perhaps DVDs. I don't have cable yet, and the picture is sharp enough to point out all the interference from the antenna signal. I hooked it up to my Digital Handycam for a...

Great TV, Great Price!

Great TV was looking for a 25" TV to go in my Bedroom and to hook up to my DirecTV system, which is DVD quality. The picture is outstanding and there are many convince features on this TV that you do not see on other TV's in its class. Like A/V...
