Samsung PNC 8000 Great until it breaks!

Bought Samsung PNC 8000 Incredible picture and 3D is amazing plus the interface to the internet is great But after 10 days TV stopped seeing any input. No cable, DVD, Blue Ray player internet nothing. Samsung is terrible on phone have to wait 5 days for service and we live in LA! Samsung has a main office here. God help you if it breaks and you live in a remote area. I would buy the Sony this thing is not reliable.

Attractive design, Bright image, Good resolution, Reduced glare, Great picture

Bad interface, Poor sound

Samsung ES8000 Review [60-inch HDTV]

Samsung ES8000 Review - this article goes over the HDTV ES8000 Series from Samsung through the prism of the 60-inch Samsung UN60ES8000 model. Image quality, SmartTV functions, Skype and designs are among the topics of the review.

The Samsung ES8000 Series is very attractive because of its striking design and large set of seemingly very advanced features, but after using it for a couple of weeks, I fell back to the basics and I liked the TV because the image quality was very...

Samsung UA55B8000 LED-lit LCD TV

This model is Samsung's highest end offering, and hails from the “farce family” of TVs that Samsung calls LED TV. It's not actually an LED TV, but rather they are LCD TVs with LED lighting. LED TV is a widely fallacious marketing ply, but then again,...

The reason we have been a little strict in our scrutiny, is that the TV is 3,50,000. That’s steep. It’s a flagship model no doubt, and does come across as one, but for that price we need a level near to flawlessness. This model is not flawless. It’s a...

Samsung UN46D8000

Samsung D8000 series information: Our review of the UN46D8000 LED TV from Samsung is based off of our experiences with the 55-inch UN55D8000 TV. The observations below also apply to the other sets in the Samsung D8000 series, including the 60-inch...

Stunning slim bezel and profile ; Two pairs of active 3D glasses included ; Comprehensive picture adjustment options ; Capable of extreme brightness ; Excellent color when properly calibrated ; QWERTY Bluetooth remote

Brightness uniformity problems ; Highly reflective glass panel ; Picture settings can’t be copied to other inputs

There’s nothing else quite like the UN46D8000 TV and its barely visible bezel. The TV makes a big visual statement whether it is turned on or not.

Samsung UN46D8000 LED HDTV Review: Delicious Design, Excellent Features, and Great Image Quality

With its Series 8 models, Samsung can lay claim to one of the skinniest bezels in the business: less than 0.25 inch between the edge of the 46-inch UN46D8000YF and its 1080p LED-backlit LCD panel. And because the bezel is mostly clear, with a silvery...

Top-notch image quality ; Outstanding feature selection ; Very good color in 3D scenes

Somewhat expensive ; Minor motion issues

The Samsung UN46D8000 preserves Samsung's reputation for state-of-the-art technology in a full-featured, 1080p 46-inch set, but it does cost more than some very strong rivals.

Samsung UN60D8000

The Samsung UN60D8000 retails for a whopping $4299 (MSRP). That's well over a $1000 more than the equivalently-sized plasma from Samsung that includes nearly all the same features. Believe us, there are a lot of features on this TV. Samsung pulled out...

Great contrast ratio ; Smooth motion ; The best 3D we’ve seen so far

Terrible viewing angle

The Samsung UN60D8000 ($4299 MSRP) packs in every feature we’ve ever heard of, along with quite a few we’d never heard of. The TV is as thin as they come, with the panel measuring only 1.2 inches. The gleaming, 4-legged pedestal is also a pleasant...

Samsung PN59D8000

The Samsung PN59D8000 ($2,599 MSRP) is Samsung's flagship plasma TV for 2011. It certainly looks beautiful in brushed metal, but will this 1080p, 3D display live up to your hopes, dreams, and $1,000+ investment? We found it to have good black & white...

Great contrast ratio ; Great motion performance

Color performance was a bit off ; Narrow viewing angle for a plasma TV

With a brushed metal design and an innovative, double-sided QWERTY keyboard, Samsung spared no detail in designing this 59-inch 1080p, plasma TV for 2011. Samsung calls it a 59-inch screen “+1,” apparently to emphasize that its bezel is an inch...

Samsung PN59D8000

For the last couple of years it has seemed that our job as TV reviewers comes down to determining which TV is better: the best Panasonic plasma or the best Samsung plasma. In 2011 the vessel bearing the Samsung flag is the PND8000, and while...

The Samsung PND8000 series has outstanding overall picture quality, with excellent black-level performance, and the most accurate color of any TV we've ever reviewed. It can handle bright rooms well and exhibits the nearly perfect screen uniformity of...

The relatively expensive PND8000 cannot produce full shadow detail or proper 1080p/24 cadence without sacrificing some black-level performance. Smart Hub lacks Amazon Instant, its search is next to useless, and its interface can be cluttered and...

With picture quality that's nearly the equal of the tough competition, as well as best-in-class design and features, the Samsung PND8000 makes a strong case for being the best overall plasma TV of 2011.

Samsung UN60D8000

The Samsung UND8000 series has a unique, visually stunning design that minimizes the frame around the screen for a nearly all-picture look. It produces deep black levels with accurate color, along with excellent video processing and improved 3D picture...

The UND8000 series is extremely expensive and exhibits poor screen uniformity with excessive brightness variation and banding. Details in shadows were obscured somewhat, and the glossy screen reflects a lot of ambient light. Smart Hub lacks Amazon...

The Samsung UND8000 TV delivers best-in-class looks and features, but its picture quality--thanks to uneven screen uniformity--is ultimately not as good as that of many less expensive models.

Samsung UN46C8000 46-Inch LCD TV

(Editor's note: This review of the Samsung C8000 series is based on our hands-on testing and evaluation of the 55-inch UN55C8000. According to the manufacturer, the image quality and features should be equivalent for each TV in this model line.)

Great video and solid audio in a thin package ; Top-notch Internet apps, including Skype

Pricey for its class ; Remote could be easier to use

The Samsung C8000 series delivers outstanding video and audio, plus a ton of well-designed Internet and media player features--for a hefty fee.

Samsung UN46C8000 LED LCD HDTV Review - Intro

The Samsung UN46C8000 ($2799 MSRP) is a gorgeous, 46-inch LED-edge lit LCD TV. But it's not trading on its looks. This is one of the new breed: a 3D display. We're not sure about this whole 3D craze, either, but we shook the UN46C8000 down with every...

The Samsung UN46C8000 ($2799 MSRP) is a very good television, but it's not perfect. The contrast ratio was fantastic, according to our tests. But because we couldn't disable the dynamic contrast ratio, it may have gained some ill-gotten points. You may...

Product Specifications

Samsung's UE / UN C8000 Series LED TV is its flagship model in 2010. It is 3D compatible, has great picture quality, and a unique, beautiful body design. It connects to the internet and can run a number of content streaming applications, including ones form Netflix, Amazon video on demand, Pandora, and Yahoo Widgets, among others. It has a unique and very thin silver bezel. The TV is less than 1 inch think, making it one of the thinnest TVs available today. It also features a unique 4-progned leg structure which really sets it apart. On the back it has room for all of the standard audio and video connections, although it has to have breakout (extender) cables for all of them because it is so thin. The picture quality is great, and the LEDs provide a number of benefits. All things considered, this is one of the best TVs available today.
