Samsung UE55HU7500 4K TV review

4K TVs no longer cost silly money, and right now the Samsung UE55HU7500 is the very best you can buy

Great picture from SD, HD and 4K Excellent specs Upgradeable Good range of smart features

Nothing

Amazing and affordable for 4K: if you want a TV for now and the future, this is it

Samsung UE55HU7500

Samsung's first flat UHD TV of 2014 is a great alternative to 'The Curve'

Gorgeous UHD and HD pictures ; Spectacularly slim design ; Extensive smart TV content

High input lag could impact gamers ; Smart interface can be a little inscrutable ; Lights turn off during fades to black

Achieving these recommended settings is reasonably straightforward via Samsung’s picture menus, though it might be nice if one day Samsung tried to introduce some sort of picture set up ‘wizard’.

Samsung UE55HU7500 review: The best 4K TV on the market right now

While we still struggle to get on with the idea of a 4K TV, Samsung really is doing a good job of selling it to us. Unlike 3D, 4K genuinely adds something to the viewing experience.

At the moment, Samsung has plentiful 4K sets on offer. We would say the 7500 is all you will ever need. Going curved adds little to the viewing experience, while bringing a much larger cost with it.
