Samsung UN32EH5000 Review – 32-inch LED LCD HDTV

It is one of the lower end LED HDTV sets launched by Samsung with a with smaller screen size. It offers 1080p HD resolution, but lacks most of the features offered by the higher end models launched by the manufacturer. Along with lack of 3D...

The model also does not offer any wired or wireless internet access option. Samsung has designed the model with 2 HDMI and 1 US ports. The number of input ports is much lower than the connectivity options offered by the higher end models launched by...

Samsung UE32EH5000 review

Strong sound and excellent picture quality (once you\'ve fiddled with the picture options) make the Samsung UE32EH5000 a cracking budget TV. It may lack fancy extras like smart TV features and 3D support, but you\'ll struggle to find a better budget TV...

Very affordable Great picture quality Solid sound USB digital media playback

Only two HDMI ports Chunky chassis No smart TV features

The UE32EH5000 is a great little TV for those who can\'t be bothered with fancy extras like smart TV features and 3D support. Its chassis may be rather bulbous, but that\'s not something that you\'ll notice on a day-to-day basis when you\'re watching...

Samsung UE32EH5000

Samsung rewrites the bargain TV rulebook with this sub-£300 32in gem.

Good all-round picture quality ; Thin bezel design ; Ridiculously great value

The rear end sticks out a long way ; Limited viewing angle ; No D-Sub input or DLNA/Network functionality

Despite its lack of Smart TV and DLNA features, it’s pretty difficult to see how you could reasonably expect the 32EH5000 to be much better than it is, for the simple reason that its picture quality is leagues ahead of what such a puny amount of money...

Samsung UE32EH5000K

Cheap? Yep. Cheerful? Most definitely.

Punchy picture ; Dark blacks ; Freeview HD tuner ; Good midtone detail ; Low price

Black detail could be better ; No smart features ; Remote could be more intuitive

Samsung UE32EH5000K: verdict Chances are, this set will be used in a second room – and second rooms are where people tend to catch up on programmes they've missed. It's not a big thing, but the inclusion of BBC iPlayer at least would've really put a...

Samsung 32EH5000 is a real & regal home entertainer with a magnificent appearance and advanced features.

Great picture, but clunky and confusing menu

Would buy again. More than enough for anyone's needs, unless you want a monster screen.

From a viewing standpoint (that's what tv s are about) it is terrific. Nice picture, good connectivity.. Has ports for ancient cables like AV

Annoying and convoluted menu. HDMI ports come out of side so you need right angle adapter or cable. Scheduled viewing only works with component video so if you are away and want to make it look like someone is watching tv this is hit and miss

Consumer review by:

very poor bass and flash drive support

all seems good except as noted in the cons

very poor low frequency sound reproduction (bass) ; maximum USB flash drive size of 64 GB

Great Screen

Great screen, low price, easy settings adjustment to use as computer monitor

None

Good TV for the price

It's not thin, but is solidly built. The downward facing speakers are a problem for some, but ideal for my unusual setup.

Good clear picture, numerous adjustments to fine tune, lightweight but doesn't seem cheap, and supports ethernet through HDMI

The remote will not control the Blu-Ray player, but the Blu-Ray player's remote can control the TV
