Well Worth The Price

Overall, this is a very good LCD. Oustanding for any type of gaming. 42" for this price is NOT a ripoff. Cant wait to build a new gaming computer and play Crysis and Gears Of War for PC. Oh yeah, Windows Vista looks beautiful especially the bubble...

Very nice dark colors. I have been using it with a 6800XT graphics card at 1280X1024 resolution. Games haven never looked this good, games like splinter cell, batlefield 2,FEAR and Doom 3 are oustanding. Regular channels look very clear and it also...

Now I have had it for a month now and the SCEPTRE letters are coming off. This really dissapointed me because it looks like the company used some kind of cheap glue. Also, the LCD sometimes it just turns off for no reason, It only did this once though....

Better than expected

1) Great pic on HD - can't make out difference from Sony TV costing twice as much and 1080p 40" LCD.

1) Pic quality out of the box was dissapointing.

So far it has been wonderful

I've had the TV for a little over a week & love it. I had a sony 27" 4.3 ratio trinitron HDTV for 3 years & there is no comparison the the Komodo. I purchased it from Micro-Center for $900.00. Menu features are very user friendly compared to a few ...

Great Price, Great picture & more aestetically pleasing than some other models

Speakers don't compare with some others but I'm using a 7.2 surround system anyway
