Works OK for about 18 months

 

When I first got this TV, I should have known the quality was bad and returned it right away. The housing of the TV is very cheap and flimsy. When I received it, one of the pieces of the stand was broken, but I thought it was no big deal. A year later...

The TV was a good price at the time. Picture is good

Good picture. Good price, bought it on Cyber Monday 2012.

Owned for a little over a year and a half, and now the screen won't turn on most of the time. Power light is responsive but screen is not. Sound was always kind of crummy. Base isn't very supportive of the weight, for the longest time we had to prop...

Nice picture for the price,

Sound not so good. Very tinny, started having trouble with audio within about 8 months of using TV. Now 11 months and lost audio completely

Piece of Junk

 

Should have known for the price.

None I can think of!

Had trouble with it losing settings after a few months, had to reset them all the time. Now at just under 11 months it died. Worst piece of junk I've ever purchased! I guess now I'll see how the warranty is at under one year of use.

Best set ever

 

Look around, the Sceptre is a very good buy!

I quit using cable-TV where I live because of horrible show selections and am now using "rabbit-ears" even though they look totally different. I can't believe the reception! It is great. There are 5 local stations, but the tv found 40. Forty free...

What I paid is kind of high compared to today's prices. At the time, 2012, I got a good deal with the Rosewill mounting device.

Worst Decision ever made

 

I understand that the TV could be deffective, after googling the problem, I am not the only one having this issue. However, the customer service never sent any mail that is more than 6 words. No help whatsoever.

Nice TV

 

CHEAP! Bought it as a daily deal for a little over $200 and had no problems.

Use it with a computer for streaming Netflix. It is a little grainy as a monitor, but great as a TV.

Amazing TV

 

The price, quality, HDMI and other ports

Doesnt have a screen saver and many options for the menu. The speakers suck if you have any bass it makes a weird noise.
