Sharp LC-32G2M (32-inch LCD)

If you care about more than just the flatness of a set, this stylish, expensive LCD offers top-notch image quality.

Stylish look; blacks are deep for an LCD; clean video processing; excellent connectivity; extensive picture controls

Expensive; inconsistent grayscale; minor false-contouring artifacts

This big-bucks set represents the cutting edge of flat-panel LCD technology and image quality.

"An LCD TV which meets all basic requirements"

Considered a lot of brands and models before deciding on this model. Though it's not as new as Viera or Bravia but given Sharp's reputation and establishment in LCD TV industry... (and its relatively ex price when first came out), I thought it is one...

Stylish design, clear picture quality and audio

No memory card input, requires an HDTV tuner due to old model

"Confusing review"

The model number is for Asia, but some of the specifications are for US model, like HDMI, cablecard, HDTV tuner... I don't think this is available in Asia model.

"No HDMI"

Why still no HDMI input? Japan and Euro already have it.I want to ask whether the PCMCIA (w/CF, SD) card can record TV boardcast?

"No regret"

Bought the built-in tuner model recently at S$3,299. Compared with the one that my cousin bought, the picture looks sharper and brighter. Even my cousin thinks so, too. Certainly a good buy.
