Sharp LC-60LE820UN 60-Inch LCD TV

(Editor's note: This review of the Sharp 820UN series is based on our hands-on testing and evaluation of the 52-inch 52LE820UN. According to the manufacturer, the image quality and features should be equivalent for each TV in this model line.)

Good documentation ; Energy-efficient set ; Above-average audio ; Decent image quality

Odd port placement ; User interface feels cluttered ; Pricey for its screen size and feature set

The Sharp Aquos 820UN Series offers good image quality, above-average audio, and energy efficiency, but its Internet and other features aren't the greatest, its design has serious shortcomings, and it is pricey for its screen-size class.

Sharp LC-60LE820UN LCD HDTV First Impressions Review - Intro

The Sharp LC-60LE820UN will be priced at around $4000 when it is released in March. That's a little expensive for a 60-inch model, but the LE820 series is one of Sharp's higher-end models. Since we haven't yet tested the new features it offers (such as...

Review: Sharp LC-60LE820UN 60-Inch LCD TV

Sharp has been touting its Quattron quad-pixel technology (which adds yellow pixels to the usual red/blue/green array), so we were eager to see how its image quality would fare in our juried tests of the Sharp Aquos 820UN Series, a 52-inch, LED-backlit...

Sharp LC-60LE820UN

The 60-inch LED-backlit Sharp LC-60LE820UN has Sharp's Quattron quad-pixel technology that delivers good image quality as well as very good audio quality. There are also many different streaming Internet services supported, but there is no built-in...

Amazing Picture quality

TV has a VERY crisp image and my wife actually said some thngs look "too real" on HD broadcast; Blu Ray is amazing on this TV paired with a sharp player Aquos link takes over and is both easy to use and amazing quality

not so much of a con, but on a 36" tall TV stand this thing is well over 6 ft tall, and should be used in a large room

Amazing picture quality on a big screen

Watching Avatar blue ray on this TV was amazing. The colors were brighter, the images were sharper and i noticed details that I\'ve never seen before. The added yellow pixel does make all the colors that have a bit of yellow in it pop and definitely...
