Sharp LC-52SB55U

The 52-inch Sharp LC-52SB55U is a solid big screen value, but it's not the only bargain you'll find.

Excellent HD picture detail. Solid value

Film-detection mode not enabled by default. Picture contrast lags behind some competitors' models. Some SB-series models have fewer HDMI ports and fewer picture-control options.

Excellent TV. Very Happy With It.

I have no complaints about it. A lot of web call it an Aquos (not CNET though). It is not Aquos and may not even be fully CEC compatible.

Nice looking good picture quality. Lots of options

Not an Aquos model so may not work with Aquos Link

Will not be disappointed!

I looked at a lot of tvs and did alot of research on hdtvs, and was surprised at the picture quality and the great value this had to offer. I would recomend to anyone who is thinking of buying a 52" for under $3100.

Great bang for the buck. Recomend this over a Vizio or other cheap brand anyday. I have a 52" Samsung Lcd with 120 htz and 24p settings and this TV is almost as good as the Samsung Easy to set up and easy to get the great looking picture

The remote control isa bit cheesy. You might want to get a good universal remote or Direct Tv will adapt very nicely also. The sound is so so but a home theater sound package sound always be used with HD tvs

Nice huge LCD television!

This LCD television is huge and could be found for a great price. No huge problems are to be had with this television and I would recommend people to get this huge set.

The design is sleek and looks very nice. The picture quality is great and no problems are had in running HD

The sound isn't the greatest, but still bearable

A Terrific Bargin!

We shopped at Best Buy since it was the only store near by with a wide enough selection. I was not too impressed by some of the other higher end tvs and was a bit put off by the magnolia's sales staff. Unless I was willing to drop over 3k they weren't...

Very good looking image and smooth motion for video games and action movies. The colors are brilliant and the images quality is stunning. I couldn't see myself spending double for the Aquos lables on the box

None that we can tell

wow! Sharp went above and beyond

Very Very good picture quality for the die hard 1080 fans out there. If you put a bluray to this t.v. you will not be disapointed. The menus are awesome. The frame is sharp. Overall this t.v. is very good for the home theater feel.

Love the picture quality. I also just recently hooked my new BluRay to the Sharp lcd and WOW! I was blown away along with my Bose theater sound system. This is a real treat. Sharp did it right

Havent found any bad stuff yet

I've got mine one a wall hooked up to a PC, a Comcast box, an Xbox, etc. Works great for all of them. The computer upstairs has been collecting dust since I got this setup and a wireless keyboard and mouse. Halo 3 in 1080p on 52" cannot be described by...

Easy to mount onto wall, lots of HDMI and component hookups, digital audio, PC VGA connection. Seems to be pretty durable

Quick review of Sharp LC-52SB55U

The Sharp LC-52SB55U represents an overall good value for a big-screen 1080p LCD, but the Samsung LN52A550 delivers equal if not better color performance and picture contrast for about the same price (online) and can also play digital music and...
