I have to say that when I first heard about Sharp's new range of LCD TVs optimised for the UK PAL TV standard, I thought Sharp was taking the Michael. Turning an entry-level screen's usually low, non HD Ready native resolution into a perceived strength...

Great standard definition pictures, HDMI input, Lack of noise

HD pictures short of fine detail, Only two Scarts, No PC jack

In other words, Sharp claims you can have your cake and eat it with the 32P50E. I'll come to how it tastes soon enough..

I have just ordered an Aquos 26" model with the latest 'PC Input' on the back (just above the 2 scart inputs) - the Sales-staff say I can use it as a monitor or a TV! Terrific!

good tv

I have had 2,42" plasma tv's and returned them both because of poor picture quality at a similar price to this one.This however is a far better picture and a lot brighter than the plasma's.I have no complaints with it.
