Sharp LC-26SD1E

Sharp have opted for a black finish, which gives the LC-26SD1E a moody, understated look

Excellent picture quality ; Pleasing black levels ; Powerful audio

Only one HDMI

Also impressive is the strength of colours. Our test movie's few moments of vibrancy, such as shots of brightly coloured murals at the abandoned school, look rich and convincing

Didn't have to keep it

Sleek yet unobtrusive; blends well in our Victorian parlour room. Has the advantage of speakers below screen ensuring that overall width is only marginally more than the screen width. Screen splits to show pragramme on left with text service on right....

Good image quality

Electronic program guide is not so good. When scanning it should keep the program you are watching in the small window - this is how my previous freeview box worked and I prefer it that way
