Sharp Aquos Quattron LC-70LE732U

Unless you have $22,000 or more to spend, the 70-inch Sharp LC-70LE732U is the biggest flat-panel TV you can buy today--the competition maxes out at 65 inches. Moreover, it's a pretty good deal by giant-TV standards, available for less than $3,000 at...

The Sharp LC-70LE73U is bigger than just about any other mainstream flat-panel TV, and a strong overall value. It delivers solid picture quality, with better screen uniformity than an edge-lit LED-based LCD, while its matte screen and high potential...

This 70-inch LED-based LCD is too large to fit in many living rooms and too expensive for most buyers' TV budgets. Its black levels, uniformity, and off-angle picture quality aren't as good as those of many large-screen plasmas. Its separate interfaces...

For people craving a colossal flat-screen TV who don't want a plasma or a projector, the 70-inch Sharp LC-70LE73U series LED-based LCD offers very good picture quality, especially in bright rooms.

Sharp Aquos Quattron LC-70LE732U

Sharp Aquos Quattron 732U series information: This review is based on our hands-on experience with the LC-70LE732U TV. However, two other models in Sharp's line-up, the The LC-70LE733U and LC-70LE734U, are very similarly featured and should offer very...

Largest consumer LCD available ; Vibrant Quattron X-gen panel, LED backlighting ; Built-in Netflix, Vudu, Napster, other apps ; Clean, intuitive menu system and remote ; Surprisingly affordable for its size ; Better-than-average sound

Interactive apps feel sluggish, limited selection ; Some “blotches” visible with solid colors, panning ; Screen lag outside gaming mode ; Basic remote with no backlight

Sharp’s 70LE732U achieves the wall-devouring size of a projector with the convenience, image quality and daylight-defying brightness of an LED TV, for a lot less than you might expect.

"Absolutely loved our 70", except it broke 2 wks ago."

We bought the 70" Sharp Aquos but unfortunetly, it broke 2 weeks ago and it sounds like a major component went out because there is no light coming from the back panel at all and only a blinking arrow (on/off indicator) on the front bottom of TV. The...

Love the picture quality, even though it is in one of the darkest rooms in our home. Love the size, resolution, colors, ease of set up, use, and Wi fi applications. Sound is good because it is in a low noise room.

Broke less than 6 mths of purchase, hard to find company in my area who can fix it through the warranty, the large picture took a little getting used to for me.

Huge picture size and quality for less than $3K

Great balance between price, size and features. We've had ours a couple of months, and we love it more and more...

BIG, Bright picture with matte finish (watch in bright room, no reflection), Sharp (picture), Great Colors, Built in WI-Fi, Built in NetFlix

No 3D (this is not a con to me, but others may disagree)

great bargain

Great deal for the price! It looks and performs beautifully in both bright and low light conditions. Sports look great on this as long as you disable the film mode. David K's calibration settings are a very good place to start.

size ; low cost ; picture quality

DSE - dirty screen effect on pans
