I had originally planned on buying a Samsung 55" LED. The Best Buy in Honolulu was out of stock and had no idea when they'd get anymore in. The Sony was on sale for about the same price so I went ahead and purchased it.

So far so good, had bad experience with last tv. Hope the life of this tv will be a good experience.
