Sony KDL-40Z4100 Review – 40-inch LCD HDTV

This stunner has a few minuses like the exorbitant price (though its worth the bucks!), a rear connector location, second tier video engine, (this model is HDReady) which is capable of reproducing resolutions of 480p, 576p, 576i, 720p, 1080i (all...

Introduction Since the arrival of 120Hz TVs, the technology has generally been treated as a premium performance feature, reserved for use in a manufacturer's highest-end lines. As with any popular feature, 120Hz is now slowly starting to trickle down...

Sony KDL-32EX403 review

This 32-inch best-seller is a solid bet if you want Freeview HD and internet connectivity

Smooth, vibrant hi-def images ; Freeview HD tuner ; Bravia Internet Video service ; USB media playback

Limited network media support ; Average black levels ; Poor motion resolution

The range of content available from both the Bravia Internet Video service and Sony's new Qriocity streaming video movie service continue to impress, helping to make this a good choice for couch potatoes on a budget.

Sony Bravia KDL-32EX403

It might not have 3D functionality or state of the art performance, but this 32in LCD TV offers online and network features at a stunningly affordable price.

Amazingly affordable ; Picture quality better than expected ; Excellent online system

Motion blur ; Unresponsive remote ; Black levels could be better

At its original price level of £550-£600, the 32EX403 might have appeared a likeable if unremarkable all-rounder chiefly notable for its Bravia Internet Video capabilities.

An excellent screen for everyday viewing and one of the best value TVs around ..

SD Picture quality, Freeview HD

A touch of motion blur with SD

With excellent all round performance and some useful additional features, the KDL-32EX403 is one of the best value LCD TVs we have come across for some time.

I love this TV. All of these TV's need some tuning out of the box, and I was able to adjust every picture component (color, red, blue, greean all seperate), sharp, background, bright, contrast, everything, until it looks fantastic. Even has advanced...

Finely tunable aspects of picure quality and color, from 1-100 or 1-10, not just Warm/Cool/Neutral. 120Hz refresh = geat quality on fast pics! Lots of HDMI inputs. SPLIT SCREEN viewing! Great looking thin frame with easy access to ports & controls

I bought in Feb 2009 and paid 1299. It's more expensive than what you can spend on some other brands. Then again, this is really a superior TV. But we'll say price is a con

color accuracy problems. In some instances skin tones look extremely yellow and then reddish in some spots like everyone was suffering from a skin disorder. This really bothers me

Before I give my review of this TV, I have to say that it is definetly at the top of the LCD heap (with the 650/750 samsung's up there and the XBR4/5. However, as a consumer and not an electronics officionato who rates products professionaly such as...

Has the specs of top-tier LCD, the same if not better in xbr4/5 sharpness. Also it is very nice aesthetically

Similar tv's exist that are over $500 cheaper, Sony premium is payed
