Sony Bravia KDL-46NX720

There's a lot to like about the KDL-NX720 series. Sony's least expensive TV with that lovely Monolithic styling, it still costs a mint but will reward investors with some of the best 2D images we've seen on any LCD with an edge-lit LED backlight . And...

The Sony KDL-NX720 series produces deeper black levels than any edge-lit LED-based TV we've tested. It evinces relatively accurate color, has a uniform screen for edge-lit LED, and can properly handle 1080p/24 sources. It has a beautiful, thin-profile...

The expensive KDL-NX720 shows some blooming artifacts and crushes detail in shadows, and its image deteriorates more noticeably than usual when seen from off-angle. The design of its menu and Internet services interface is lackluster, and Sony does not...

Albeit expensive and plagued by issues in 3D, the beautifully styled Sony KDL-NX720 has better picture quality than most other edge-lit LED-based LCD TVs.

Sony KDL-46NX720

Sony NX720 series information: Our review of Sony's 46-inch is based off of our time with the 55-inch KDL-55NX720 TV. However, the observations are applicable to Sony's 60-inch KDL-60NX720. The three sets have identical specifications (save weight and...

Excellent black level and contrast ; Very bright white levels ; Slick, flat panel with darkened, anti-glare glass ; Built-in Wi-Fi, plenty of Internet apps ; Quick network media access

3D glasses not included ; Remote not backlit

We don’t wish to take anything away from the Sony's XBR line, but the fact is the NX720 is a better over-all value and that is why we’re stamping it with our Editor’s Choice award.

Sony Bravia KDL-46NX720

The Sony Bravia KDL-46NX720 is a solid, yet overpriced TV set with 3D capability and decent picture quality. It won't dazzle you, but it isn't a bad pickup if you don't mind paying the extra cash for the 3D and Sony brand name. Still, there are a few...

The Sony Bravia KDL-46NX720 is a 3D LCD TV with a mid-range price and an entry-level performance. While it does have a good contrast ratio, it underperforms in a few key areas like color temperature and motion performance that should give the consumer...

Sony KDL-46NX720 Review – 46-inch LED LCD HDTV

This model comes with the smallest screen size in comparison to the other two models launched under the same series. But it comes with some of the best features introduced by Sony. It comes with high resolution and subfield motion to watch both 2D and...

"Fantastic TV, awesome picture"

I stole this TV from Best Buy for only $999!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Picture, looks, decent sound.

None (3D sucks, but I think 3D sucks on an IMAX too!)

"Good TV but some MAJOR FAULTS"

Was in a toss up between this TV and one from Samsung... This one was considerably more expensive but I had heard good things about Sony Bravias and really liked the design. Salesman told us he had been to a seminar where they threw keys at the TV -...

Looks great (the design and actual screen function). Mostly works well.

TV guide will not load until you have manually looked at all channels. Suspected FAULTY AND/OR USELESS GORILLA GLASS. Sony customer support/service was absolutely shocking!

"Worst 3D ever seen: No 3D at all!"

Stay away from this if you are looking for a 3D TV including the series EX72x which have the same problem but less pronounced.

Good picture quality but overpriced.

If you are looking for a 3D TV this is not a wise choice. I returned 1 of this and after checking out 2 other models and a KDL-55NX720 at the sony store I found out they all have a serious problem in terms of 3D.
