Sony BRAVIA KDL-55EX710 LED television

The Sony BRAVIA KDL-55EX710 is a mid-range edge-lit LED television. Its 55in panel size is imposing -- it's great for sitting back and watching sport ...

Large screen for a low price, good motion control, excellent energy consumption rating, better styling than EX700 series

Cheap fascia and bezel plastic, some high contrast detail loss, wireless LAN is optional

Sony Bravia KDL55EX710

The Sony Bravia KDL55EX710 is a very stylish and capable performer, but it's not our preferred option at this size.

Impressive visuals ; Natural colours ; IPTV streaming ; Slim

Black levels inconsistent due to panel size ; Off-axis poor ; Sound quality is uneven

Nevertheless, the Sony 55EX710 is an elegant television which will no doubt grace many a living space. It's a true all-rounder, but obviously not at the pinnacle of performance for the size.

On the high end of LED picture quality

I bought this tv to replace the dump of a Samsung LCD I had. I did a lot of research on different brands of lCD LED tv's and the different models. I pegged a Sony that seemed like a sure bet, but it was a little steep price wise. ... Expand full review

Great picture, with easy set up. Reasonably priced for the quality. Nice remote control

Side angles get a bit of white out depending on where you're viewing from

Great picture.

(Purchased in Jan. 2011) Bought at Best buy for $999.99. I initially wanted to the Samsung UN46C6500($1599.99). At the store the Samsung TV looked so much better than the Sony. The clerk let me fudge with the setting via remote and I tried to get it as...

Great picture. Sony's "Bravia Sync" makes it convenient to hookup everything and use a single remote. In my case the Sony Blu-Ray and Sony sound bar

When viewing from the side/off angle, the color fades. But from where we have it positioned, it isn't a big problem. The TV's speakers aren't an issue since we use a sound bar
