Sony Bravia KDL-46HX820

Sony HX820 series information: Our review of the Sony KDL46HX820 is based on our time spent evaluating the 55-inch KDL55HX820. According to Sony, the two sets differ only in dimension and weight and offer identical features and performance.

Excellent black level and contrast ; Very bright white levels ; Slick, flat panel with darkened, anti-glare glass ; Built-in Wi-Fi, plenty of Internet apps ; Quick network media access

3D glasses not included ; Remote not backlit ; Unnecessary processing adds expense

Is the added cost of the non-XBR HX series TVs worth it? There may be isolated cases where it is.

Sony Bravia KDL-55HX820

The Sony KDL-55HX820 is a notch below Sony's top-of-the-line HX929, but it boasts many of the high-end features. The KDL-55HX820 boasts 3D and WiFi, the latter of which offers Sony's new premium suite of content, Qriocity. Top off that package with...

With built-in WiFi, 3D, and 480Hz, the KDL-55HX820 has all the trappings of a high-end set. The problem we have, however, is the TV is almost indistinguishable from other units in Sony’s line-up. Almost all their series feature WiFi and 3D. The only...

A scientific, in-depth analysis with side-by-side comparisons

The Sony Bravia KDL-55HX820 is a high-end 3D LCD TV with a price tag to boot, but is it worth it? It has all the streaming features you could ever want in the year 2011, but who knows what the future holds; today’s Qriocity might be tomorrow’s...

highly recommended over the NX720 Design is main comparison to the HX820. Very short brightness setting from dim to bright on the NX720. XR pro works well with 240hz & HD for youtube.

Sony Bravia KDL-46HX820

After I did my research and deciding on the Sony Bravia KDL46HX820, I had reservations buying something this pricey online from Amazon–the savings was worth the gamble. I couldn't be a happier customer with the whole process. With the standard free...

I have the KDL-55NX720 hanging on my bedroom wall and I just love it. Of course the sound quality is very low. That is why I have it hooked up to a Dennon reciever and 4 front Kplish speakers 2 surround speakers and a 10 inch bass cabinet.

Stunning. Elegant. Feature packed!

This is by the far the most beautiful and exceptional TV I have ever owned. The design is up to Sony's legendary iconic design days of the past. Less is more for me when it comes to electronics and this TV performs and looks beautiful.

Perfect picture out-of-the-box! Loaded with internet apps. Stunning monolithic design with Corning's Gorilla Glass was a key feature leading me to buy this TV. It has a solid feature set and it UI is fairly easy to use and graphic are clean and sharp. The

The remote could be better considering this is Sony's second most expensive TV. The iPhone remote Sony app works great, though. Lack of component imputs (comes with a component imput dongle)

The unsung hero of the Sony 2011 line up.

The Sony KDL-HX820 LED TV may be the best kept secret of 2011.

PQ ; Costs less then its big brother the Sony Hx929 and performs just as well--maybe better(but we will never know because it has been ignored by Cnet and everyone else for some odd reason) ; Inky Blacks, accurate vivid colors, POP ; Very good 3D PQ ;...

Table top stand is a bit wobbly for a 55" TV ; While the TV speakers are pretty good for such a slim TV-- you will want to enhance the sound to match the excellent PQ

Sony Bravia KDL-55HX820

HX is Sony's flagship TV series. It has lots of outstanding features like dynamic LED edge dimming, 3D ready, 240MHz refresh rate, wireless ready and the latest bravia engine. I would definitely recommend this TV.
