Deep blacks yet you can still see details in the dark unlike the Kuro plasma set sitting next to it. Great viewing angle even for an lcd. The LED bulb is supposed to last ~ 20 years. Outstanding picture.
It was a it of a stretch for the budget but we bought the 46" model, perfect for our space, for a lot less than the MSRB of this 55" beast.
