Sony KDL-32BX330 review: Sony KDL-32BX330

To some people, a 32-inch TV is a commodity like a toaster oven or a vacuum cleaner. You just wander into your electronics retailer and buy whatever's on sale. But not all budget TVs are created equal, and while the Sony KDL-32BX330 isn't the best TV...

The Sony KDL-32BX330 is a decent telly for the money with plenty of shadow detail and good off-axis response. Sony has a reputation for being expensive, but the BX300 is sensibly priced. Though styling is usually a problem for cheap TVs, the Sony looks...

Color is a little off, with reds and greens a little unnatural. Blacks are fairly light and tend to be discolored. The feature count is minimal with only a 720p resolution, but its competitors at this price share a similar issue.

If you're looking for a Sony for minimal cost, then the KDL-32BX330 is where it's at. But even at this budget price, there are better options.

Sony Bravia KDL-32BX330 Review

Let's be honest: You may have spent weeks or even months researching the perfect TV for your living room, den or home theater, but when it comes to outfitting your small bedroom, kitchen, dorm or play-room with a TV, you are far more likely to make an...

Impressive contrast ; High brightness capability ; Rich colors ; Lightweight and easy to mount

Overly bright whites obscure detail ; Red colors a little hot at times ; No backlight level control ; Poor sound

While the 32BX330 won’t be wowing any videophiles, it is a solid performer with Sony’s signature picture quality.

Proof that Sony does indeed make budget TVs.

For the price, you could do a lot worse.

Sony KDL-32BX330 Review – 32-inch LCD HDTV

The 32-inch LCD TV model launched by Sony can only be considered by the buyers to complement the need for a backup or second TV sets. You will miss most of the features offered by other high-end models launched by the manufacturer. In addition to the...

The model also does not come any wired or wireless options to access the online movies, music, videos, photo and applications. But Sony has included 2 HDMI and 1 USB port in the TV design that you can use to access your offline digital content library...

"Excellent Picture"

I find the picture to be excellent. Skin tones are right on. I have my tv hooked up to a rooftop antenna and the tuner pulls in all available channels unlike LG which has a finiky tuner. I also have a Sony 40 inch 1080P set and I can't tell the...

"All things considered a good buy for the price."

Don't be so cheap with the audio out feature, Sony. I expected more from a brand name.

Excellent HD picture.

TV remote cannot be used to control fixed audio out or digital audio out volumes. Add on speakers require a separate volume control. Very frustrating.

Sony KDL-32BX330

I got the last one. Hopefully New Egg will restock. I'd like to buy several more at that price.

I stole this at $194. It may be called refurbished but the packaging and condition was like brand new. Great Sony picture as always. New Egg got it to me in three days with free shipping. I'm using it as a monitor in my home office. Streaming Netflix...

Sony is the best even Refurbished

Sticking with Sony from now on.

Good TV, Clear Picture, Slim Design, Theft Protected TV Stand (Secured with any wood screw), Flat Touch Button Design, Quality Refurbished & Packaged Well

Power will somehow turn on or off by itself, Confusing Component / Composite input, no Motionflow, no removable power cable, no universal remote control, and usb don't play too much files
