Sony KDL-32HX753 review

Exclusive The Sony 32HX753 is a 32-inch TV with Edge LED lighting, smart TV functionality, multimedia playback support and active 3D.

Potentially good 2D ; Crosstalk-free 3D ; Excellent online features ; Fair value

Input lag gaming issue ; Poor Home menu ; Pictures not the brightest ; Backlight inconsistency

The HX753 gives you bags of Smart features, stunning picture and a nice price for a 32in screen

Sony KDL-32HX753 review – intro Sony’s premium 800-series sets – like the HX853 – have rightly attracted a lot of praise, but the other end of the company’s 2012 line-up is just as talented:&nbs

Sony KDL-32HX753

Can Sony's new HX753 series continue the run of form kicked off by the outstanding HX853s?

Crosstalk-light 3D pictures ; Excellent online features ; Can work well in a dark environment

Black levels not great with most picture settings ; Pictures lack dynamism ; Input lag

Sony's KDL-32HX753 is a 32-inch full high definition 3D LED TV with built-in Wi-Fi and Sony Internet TV, allowing viewers to use apps such as YouTube, Facebook, Netflix and similar such apps. It has four HDMI inputs, the ability to connect to a PC, two...

If you’re picking up any new TV, you’ll need a decent set of connections. The Sony KDL-32HX753 doesn’t disappoint with its four HDMI ports to work with other compatible HD devices such as Blu-ray players and games consoles, letting you watch films, or...

One of the true litmus tests of any high-end TV kit is its ability to convey sharp shades of black. Here the Sony KDL-32HX753 loses points, with blacks occasionally looking a little grey from time to time. Tinkering with the settings does improve...

For a mid-entry television, the Sony KDL-32HX753 does itself justice, but with less than stellar picture quality and sound compared to the best, don’t expect it to blow you away.

Best TV ever!

Recently purchased this smart TV to replace my old Sony Bravia. The TV was very easy to Install. Very slim, light wait making it very easy to wall mount. I'm still getting to grips with the many applications this TV has to offer. Would highly recommend...

Wondeful picture in both 2D and 3D. It is advisable to turn off the advanced picture settings and carefully adjust the colour, brightness and colour for different inputs. It was useful having a digital optical output connection to an amplifier, so that...

Sony Bravia KDL32HX753

HD picture not as sharp as I have seen on other tv's for example Philips tv's which produce a pin sharp image. HD pictures on this Sony look 'soft' even with the sharpness setting set on the maximum setting. Sound is about average for this type of tv.
