Sony Bravia KDL-40NX703 review

This Sony offers excellent black levels - and can be bought with a white bezel

Excellent picture quality ; Good backlight consistency ; Online TV platform ; Very elegant design especially with the optional stand

Limited viewing angle ; HD could be sharper ; Could be cheaper

Sony Bravia KDL-46NX703

The Sony Bravia KDL 46NX703 sits within Sony's Network range of new Bravia HD TVs and is suitably equipped with a wide range of connection options including integrated Wi-Fi support, a big improvement over the optional (at extra cost) Wi-Fi dongle of...

Good connectivity, excellent HD picture quality, slim “Monolithic” design

Seems expensive, audio quality, no 3D and already supplanted by 713 update model

Beautiful to look at and with excellent picture quality - making it beautiful to watch as well - the Sony Bravia KDL 46NX703 is an absolute gem of a HD TV. The network capabilities make it very flexible in terms of content delivery too, and while the...

Sony Bravia KDL-46NX703 review

This 'Monolith' of an LCD TV offers 46 inches of HD goodness

Elegant design ; Excellent pictures ; Good features

Average sonics ; Slight backlight inconsistency

An elegant, high-performance TV with class leading online features, but its high price may not appeal to the mass market

Sony Bravia KDL-40NX703 review

The Sony Bravia KDL-40NX703 is a very good TV with nice features like built-in Wi-Fi, but the glossy coating is very reflective and it wouldn't play any DivX or XviD content.

Sony KDL-40NX703 review

Wireless is nice, but the picture performance can be bettered

Built-in wireless works well ; slick menu system ; detailed pictures ; good movement

Not the final word in subtlety

Wireless is nice, but the picture performance can be bettered for the money

Sony Bravia KDL-46NX703

It's the first mainstream edge LED-lit LCD TV we've seen from Sony, so what do we think?

With its catwalk looks, outstanding pictures and exemplary multimedia talents, the 46NX703 is definitely one of Sony's finest hours. Even so, we briefly toyed with not giving it a Recommended award on account of its rather steep £1,700 price. But then...

Sony KDL-46NX703

It looks opulent and pretty, it's got plenty of features, Wi-Fi is built in, mostly very likeable picture quality, excellent online service

Underwhelming audio, slightly expensive for what's on offer, and evidence of backlight inconsistency

Sony KDL-40NX703

Great design. Ahead of its time for a Smart TV

Quality of screen wasn't that great. Smart TV features not very intuitive. Ultimately not the best value for what was paid.

Sony KDL-40NX703

Great design. Lots of functionality

TV stopped working 18 months after purchase. Warranty was only 12 months and Sony quote £600 to repair it! This was a top of the range, very expensive TV: but based o the repair cost it is going to the dump aftrer just 18 months - not happy!
