Sony Bravia KDL-52HX903

This is the first Sony TV to use direct LED backlighting rather than the edge mounted alternative

Terrific looks; Massive feature count; Extensive multimedia abilities; Mostly superlative pictures

Rather limited viewing angle; Crosstalk noise with 3D playback; Very average sound; Expensive

So the first thing we must do with the 52-inch KDL-52HX903 is put our detective hat on and try to nail precisely where it sits in the company's labyrinthine lineup

Sony Bravia KDL-52HX903

We find out if this 52in LCD TV successfully marries direct LED backlighting with 3D readiness.

Despite the sense of expectation created by the 52HX903’s direct LED lighting system, as we started testing it memories of the 60LX903’s 3D problems were still nigglingly fresh in our mind. Thankfully, though, for whatever reason the 52HX903’s 3D...

Sony Bravia HX903 (KDL-46HX903) review

The Sony Bravia KDL-46HX903 is a good, but not great, TV. It's overpriced for what it is, and we'd pick Panasonic or Samsung's 3D models over this one every time

Looks super ; Great Internet functionality

Too expensive ; Need to buy an add-on pack to view 3D content

The Sony Bravia KDL-46HX903 is expensive, yet doesn't come with everything you need to start watching in 3D. Consequently, we don't know why you'd pick this TV over Panasonic's 3D model, which is 3D-capable out of the box. It doesn't even include...

Sony 52HX903 Absolutely Stunning!

I decided to upgrade my 3 year old 40" Sony Bravia 40X3000 and fancied one that was 3D capable. I only buy Sony TV's and have done for as long as I can remember due to their superior picture and build quality although you do pay more. This TV is...

Fabulous piece of kit......

Bought this after 2 failed goes at getting a satisfactory Samsung UE55D8000... glad that all went pear shaped as this TV is fab. Quality of the picture out strips the sammy by miles. Its a little piece of perfection...

A fantastic TV and so big i don't have to decorate 1 wall. Fantastic when connected to a computer

you do need a large room for it

Absolutely stunning picture quality and sublime motion handling, inky blacks and superb 3D provide an Awesome Package ; Completely different league to the Panasonic VT20

Loss of 3D Signal if you tilt your head (even slightly left or right) ; Off Axis Blooming and contrast loss ; Sound could do with more Bass

Really good 2D picture quality and a top spec TV. Having the add-ons separate from the TV does have the advantage of making any problems easier to fix/locate

Having to buy all the add-ons separately (although the place I got the TV from gave the 3D products with the TV). 3D picture quality is still a work in progress but is one of the best I've seen from what's in the market so far
