Extremely affordable by Sony's usual wallet-hammering standards, the Bravia KDL-40V5500 is a good, feature-laden TV. The only problem is that, due to a noticeable backlight problem, pictures aren't as consistently good as we'd like

And what's the difference in spec between the 32V5500 and the 32W5500? They don't differ much in price. Thanks!
If i remember correctly, another difference is that the 'S' model uses the older version of Sony's Bravia Engine (BE2). The V and W models use BE3.
