THe SONY KD-34XBR2 is the updated, newly released verion of the KW-34HD1, so writing the review here should be fine. The components have received updating - you will not find another direct view on the market that can beat the XBR2 feature for feature...

This TV is amazing. Images are crisp, color is great, resolution is stunning, and the technology is impressive. You will not be disappointed with this HDTV! Setup was very easily and it is virtually self configuring.

Velocity Modulation Scanning sharpens picture definition by varying the beam scanning rate to give every object a sharp, clean edge. Magnetic Quadra Pole reduces beam spot distortion and improves corner-to-corner focus, as well as picture sharpness.
