Sony PlayStation 3D Display review

When I went to college, not that long ago, I searched high and low for an affordable way to connect my PC and game consoles to the same screen. There weren't many options, because computers' VGA cables and televisions' RCA and S-Video jacks didn't get...

Stylish, slim design ; Dual native HDMI 1.4a inputs ; Quality shutter glasses

Ridiculously glossy screen ; Requires a dark room ; Minor annoyances abound

One screen to rule the dorm

Sony PlayStation 3D Display

Every once in a while, Sony comes up with a really great idea, and we think this may wind up being one of them. At first glance, Sony's new PlayStation-branded TV appears to be the product of some clever marketing down at Sony HQ — an effort to...

Solid picture quality ; SimulView is useful and entertaining ; Acceptable 3D brightness

No remote ; Terrible speakers ; Small screen size

Sony has managed to make a $500, 24-inch display appealing by including some useful accessories, integrating 3D and offering the rather innovative SimulView feature.

Sony PlayStation 3D Display

The PlayStation 3D Display was originally unveiled at E3 2011 as a television built by Sony targeted at gaming fans. Priced at £449, the Sony PlayStation 3D Display has a 23.5-inch 3D and full HD 1080p display, two HDMI inputs, a pair of 3D shutter...

While Sony is to be commended for building a display to gamers it isn’t quite the entertainment behemoth some will have expected. It offers little in the way of extra features, and since its announcement TVs have gone down in price. Looking elsewhere...

Sony PlayStation 3D Display

I have had this display for 2 days now, and i still have yet to see anything that indicates the displays is capable of 240hz. I tried to hook it up to my pc and go into the screen resolution advanced settings/monitor to see a list of capable screen...

Terrible speakers really? I heard there was a subwoofer, and anyways a Gamer would prefer a wireless headset. I love the simul-view technology, makes multiplayer games more interesting and worth the money with 3D.

Good display/monitor

I'm using this as a monitor for my PC as well as a display for my Xbox and PS3. It fits very well in a small room and very crisp and clean display

No remote control

SONY 98078

I bought this just to try the 3d gamin stuff, don take my tears out but was a good experience, the image is nice, the HD awesome, sound average good for one hour gaming per day no more, then start the Cons

Frequent black-outs during usage, gets hotter, other post say that putting a HDD cooler in the back near the ventilation holes, can solve this issue

Never a problem, an exceptional display for it's size and weight

I want to buy 2 or three of these just to have, but I know it is kind of impractical.

I've had no problems at all with my Sony Playstation 3D Display. I use it as my third display, so it get's moved around from computer to ps3 wherever I would like a larger screen than my laptop. I use it as a moniter for netflix most of the time, but...

I have the older PS3 remote, which was made way before these things were dreamed up, so I have to use the buttons on the remote to access them. I would suggest getting the new PS3 remote, as they are just as annoying as the buttons on any flatscreen tv

I got the screen black out problem just like many others. It does that randomly especially when i am playing battlefield. I know its not a setting problem because me and my friend bought one at best buy at the same time and his have no problem.

very bright, a lot brighter then my LG monitor ; I like the style its looks like a psp ; It was considered a good price for 3D monitor during the time I bought it. But I never used the 3D myself

buttons are at the back of the screen, consider buying a remote control ; only tested speaker when i first got it, and never use it again. but i think my cheap speaker have better sound ; the stand can only be adjusted like 5 degree BACKWARD. I have to...
