Toshiba 32AX60 -Sound Problems?

I recently bought a 32AX60 and have been somewhat frustrated. Don't get me wrong. I love the picture clarity, detail and the features (s-video, 2 tuner PIP, component video), but I have had problems with the sound. To the point where I may return it....
