Toshiba 46SL412U

With good contrast and color performance, the Toshiba 46SL412U impresses for its price point, but it's not perfect, as it has no internet connection and only limited external media options. From a pure value standpoint, it's a great buy, but for some...

Wide contrast ratio ; Notable RGB color curve response

Mediocre audio system ; No internet connection

With good contrast and color performance, the Toshiba 46SL412U impresses for its price point, but it’s not perfect. With a lackluster audio system, cinephiles will probably want to use an external setup to avoid the tinny playback.

Worst sound ever

I hooked up an old 5.1 digital surround sound system so the TV volume gets put all the way to 0. Make sure you own additional speakers before purchasing as I couldn't stand the sound for more than one day.

Sooo many inputs and the color calibration options they give you is insane. The picture quality is top notch(unless you're 2 feet in front of it), very little backlight bleed(all tvs seem to have some), and no dead pixels

Sound makes this TV lose an egg. Honestly I have never heard worse sound in my life. My off-brand 7" tablet has better sound than this. There's an option called dynamic range control that makes it bearable but changing inputs or stations or just...

Great Pictire

The setup for WIFI is very hard and I needed to use the owners manual to find out what button turns the cap lock off and allows me to input lower case letters.

Great Picture Quality. Interface is easy to use and pretty neat looking

Sound has no base which is to be expected out of any LED TV. I Bought the LG sound bar with wireless subwoofer and Bluetooth. Best combination of electronics I own

Poor Toshiba Support

Very poor Outsourced On-site Tech Support and Service Center. Did not show up on the scheduled date. Techs paid more attention to other items in the house than the TV. Wanted to return the TV unfixed after taking and holding it for a week. Said, "we...

Good picture when it works ; Thin and light ; A good number of ports

Near useless speakers ; Slow TV startup ; Slow gadget/app loading ; Vesa Mount area is insanely big for such a small and light TV. At 400x400, the average wall mounting kits will not work with this TV

Incredible picture at LCD price

Great picture, almost 3D-like in its clarity. Thin form, plenty of HDMI hookups. LED at LCD price. Great experience with the shipping company as well

Sound is tinny and weak---likely from the thin speakers. Will add a sound bar and all should be perfect

Excellent Deal!!!

The audio is inferior, as are many TV's in this price range. But I have a nice external sound system (which I highly recommend). So, I am a very happy customer!

Fantastic

Get this TV, get internet connectivity from somewhere else (PS3/Xbox), and you'll save big $! Big screen, vivid colors

Great Price point for 120 Hz LED; Plethora of connectivity options (3HDMI, Optical audio, etc). Nice amount of picture settings options including pretty solid presets (movie, game, PC, etc)

Remote is a little flimsy; sound not the best (expected w/ a TV this slim)

Total Garbage

I'm looking for a new TV cause this is trash and a waste of the money, thanks Newegg.

It's got a great vibrant picture...................and that's about it

Bought to use with my HTPC and my XBOX. It operates alright when I'm watching a movie, or Hulu, or Netflix. However playing any game what so ever is pretty much impossible. I've been trying to give it a chance and it's just not working out ; The built...
