It breaks - usually within 6 months and it's a very, very long time before Toshiba customer service refunds your money

Just as all the other reviews state, two months out of warranty the screen went black and everything else worked. Service center wants $589 to fix plus the $85 to look at it and Toshiba washed thier hands of it.
