Picture quality; does a great job with Freeview, DVD and HD material; ace styling

Viewing angle isn't great; other Toshibas have better sound; blacks aren't as dark as they should be at times; price

A visually impressive TV that does a great job with most things you throw at it. Sadly, we're not thrilled about the shallow viewing angle and slightly muddy black levels, both a result of the backlight

Superb HD and video pictures; Great connecitivity, Superb black level response; vibrant colours; 100Hz picture processing

Slight processing lag; Not Full HD, Lack of fine details in shadows; a green tinge to blacks

On the downside, black levels are good but not ground-breaking. Some dark objects look a little pale, particularly when you move off centre, but shadow detail during dark scenes is excellent

It heads Toshiba's flagship LCD range and looks the part too. But can we expect great things from its panel?

Great for 2 months only!

Got this TV and was amazed at looks, resolution, vivid colours, brilliant upscaling, no motion blur - wonderful! .... \n \nThen after 2 months, the TV developed pixelation, moire effects and really bad upscaling. Reported to retailer and they gave me Tosh...
